We don't have much going on this week, and in order to keep us sane, I thought some Halloween crafts would help pass some time. The one we picked for today was painting rocks and turning them into pumpkins and spiders. Perfect! It can be done outside, the paint can be messy, and it's (relatively) indestructible for William. We went to the creek by our house to find some rocks, and I must say, finding rocks that are somewhat round are a LOT harder than you might think. However, I found some that would make do, and our project was off to a good start! Here is what we ended up with. Glamorous, they are not, but it made for a fun and inexpensive project! William still managed to amputate the legs of a spider or two, but it's all about the fun, right?
