William started his first day of Pre-K today! His school is so precious, and he LOVES it. His new teacher is super sweet, and he didn't even think about shedding a tear this morning when I dropped him off. I had to remind him to come tell me bye and give me a kiss. He totally wouldn't have noticed if I walked out the door! So grown up...

In the baby world, Shep is 5 weeks old. He had a great one month check up, weighing in at 9 lbs. 1.51 oz. (50%) and measuring 1 ft. 8.55 inches (25%). He slept through the night for the first time on his one month birthday eve, 8/13/10. I should also mention that night has been followed by several of the worst he's had (notice the bags under my eyes), so by NO means have we passed a major milestone yet! Baby steps, baby steps. :) Did I mention that when he first came out, almost everyone thought he looked just like me?? Well, everyone has since determined that he and big brother William are twinkies. Their baby pictures are practically indistinguishable, except that Shep's eyes are darker (maybe he'll be a brownie??) and his hair is a little darker, too. I can hardly wait to see what his little personality will be like!

Charlie on the other hand has grown up super fast since Shep came home. I couldn't be more proud of him for being such a sweet big brother. I took him in for a checkup, too, when Shep had his one month appt. At 18 months, Charlie weighed in at 27 lbs. 8.92 oz. (75-90%) and measured 2 ft. 7.85 in. (25-50%). Short and stocky is his name! :) He looked perfect, though we had quite a time getting him checked out. He does NOT like being touched, poked, or prodded by anyone, much less a stranger. It was an interesting morning with all 3 kids in one tiny exam room. The boys' pediatrician is at Children's Hospital, and they are super good about having plenty of staff to help out. Lord knows I needed every spare hand that morning! Next time, I'll have to take ear plugs for the entire hospital. I'm sure I got lots of funny looks and probably some under the breath curse words, but I was too preoccupied to notice....or care. :)

Had to throw in a few more pictures of Shep....I know he'll be grown in the blink of an eye!

Yay, William! So glad he loves Pre-K! Davidson starts tomorrow and he has been counting the days all summer. What is up with these big boys!?!?!? Love all the pics of your sweet boys. Shep is perfect and that Charlie is so precious I could eat him up. He does look more grown up all of a sudden! Love you guys :) LLL
Could your boys be any cuter?! I don't think so :) So glad to hear that you all are doing well. I've been thinking about you, and I hope you are making it!
