Charlie Boo turns Two!!

Happy happy to our precious Charlie! He turned two last week, right in the midst of everyone being sick. :( We still had a fun filled day that was all about Charlie, but we were cooped up at home with no visitors. He didn't seem to notice. He was just glad to be the center of attention for a day! We had to practice blowing out candles at lunch....I stuck one in a starburst, and ooooh, was that funny. I think I lit it no less than 10 times cause he loved blowing it out so much.

So, I never posted about Charlie's hair a few weeks ago. This child, I have to admit, has some great hair. He gets compliments on it all the time. However, he was in need of a serious trim. Well, he is horribly terrified of haircuts. Daddy William asked if he could cut it with the clippers on the longest setting, just to "trim it up." I knew in the pit of my stomach it was a bad idea, but I guess he caught me on a day when I just didn't care so I agreed. 45 minutes later, it was done. And butchered. And I couldn't say a word because I did the same thing to little William last summer. This picture is 3 weeks later, and it still looks this crooked!

Checking out the new Roddy horse from MiMi and Grandad...
I think William opened all of the gifts, thankfully Charlie is young enough to not care...
I love this surprised face Charlie makes......his very own Hexbug! Now, maybe he and Bubba won't fight over them now that he has one of his own! Right.
Happy Happy Happy!
So, after 3 weeks of sickness and snowstorms, the hint of spring is upon us.....warm weather, perfect days for playing outside. Great cure for cabin fever!

I wish these days of pushing dump trucks around the yard would never end. Shep will be joining them before I know it!
Speaking of Shep, look at this fat little thing! He is so chunky, but he's small for his age. Squishy, squishy, pinch me all over!
This is so gross, but here's Charlie picking out Shep's "toe jam." That child is funny about dirt and being dirty. He can pick out the tiniest speck on anything. Love my boys, but wow. Between that and bathroom humor, I don't stand a chance in this house.
