White River

Concerning previous post about Doggy, he has been returned...sort of. The nice people at Gaston's did actually find Doggy and send him back...to Ardie and Tattoo's house. They were supposed to send him here, but hey, we're just glad he's in safe hands and will be home soon. Here are some (well, lots) of pics from our trip to the White River.

A rare pic of the whole family. Mom has lots on her camera that are actually decent of all four of us, but I don't have them yet.
We thought we hit the jackpot when Daddy William found a boatload of wild blackberries. Come to find out they were actually dewberries, but I made cobber with them anyway, and it was still pretty good!

Charlie slept the whole weekend, which is sooooooo out of character for him. He was an absolute angel, which made the trip loads better for us all. :)
William and the Devil Dog, er, I mean Rella. And yes, it was so cool up there in the mornings that we had to wear pants and long sleeves. The weather couldn't have been more perfect.

What a perfect setting for a picture. Too bad I didn't get any good ones out of the million and fifty that I took here.

We had a picnic by the pond Saturday night. Fortunately, the pond is right by the air strip and William got to see a few planes take off/land up close. He thought that was super fun!

Thanks Ardie and Tattoo for such a fun and memorable weekend!!
