Thanksgiving 2011

In 8 1/2 years of marriage, William and I have always gone back and forth trading holidays with each other's family.  This was the first time that we've ever gotten both!  We had Thanksgiving at our house with part of my family...Mom, Janie, Uncle Conner, and Aunt Anne...and part of William's family.....Mother and Daddy (MiMi and Grandad).  While we missed the other siblings, it was a special day for us.  I am always so busy on holidays, that I never think to take out the camera until after the festivities are over.  So, once again, I don't have pictures of anyone other than my crew!

I used to make a similar face when I was little, and Shep loves to make it!

 Charlie is obsessed with boots.  Especially Bubba's.  He ALWAYS wants to wear big brother's boots, which is exhausting for me but sweet at the same time. :)

 William looks so grown up in this picture, sniff, sniff.  Well, except for the fact that he still has a death grip on Doggy.  I think he's going to hang around for a while, and that is totally fine with me!

 Taking a break from playing in the leaves.  This kid loves his Razorback shirts.  He got another one and a jersey for Christmas....enough to always have a clean one, right?  Well, except for a little thing called laundry that Mommy can't quite stay on top of these days....

 I wish I could bottle up their laughter and keep it forever.  So innocent and sweet!

Baptism

Being baptized to me is a very personal thing.  We never had our boys baptized as infants for a handful of reasons.  The biggest one being that we wanted it to take place in a church that was special to us.  A home of sorts.  We have attended our church for several years, but have in the past two years really felt like it has become our church.  We are truly a part of it and are emotionally attached to it, so we felt it was the right time to have the boys all baptized together.  I don't have any pictures of the service itself, but we took a few pictures before we left for church.

Pretty little outfit...Charlie had to make it ugly by shoving his finger in his nose.  And I wish you could see how truly fat Shep's legs looked in his outfit.  People can literally not resist pinching them...all the time.  They are too irresistible!

 Wow, they can look sweet and innocent, can't they??  Mommy knows better, though. :)

We are blessed in every sense of the word with these little monkeys.  They are an absolute joy, and I could not be more proud to be their Mommy!!

William's 6th birthday

I've really gotta get better about staying on top of our blog or I won't remember enough details to write about!!  We celebrated William's 6th birthday with his classmates at River City Gymnastics back in November.....

 It was also Charlie's first time there, and he possibly had more fun than any other kid.  He loved it!

 His face cracks me up in this picture.  So much effort being put into that hoola hoop, which I am sure only went around those little hips once or twice.  :)

William's cake request was for a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and red writing on it.

Fun party with fun friends, and lots of new fun toys!  :)  Still can't believe my first born is SIX!!!
